Classic Car Show at Top Floor: Let The Good Times Roll!

I had so much fun at the car show at Top Floor Cars this past weekend. I can’t stop thinking about how fun it was, and all for a great cause: to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The car show is proof that there are good people in the world. We had so many amazing sponsors (see full list below), several silent auction item donors, and many people showing up the day of the show bringing their awesome rides to show,  tacos, drinks, Blue Bell ice cream and even fine chocolates. Several people volunteered their time, and were willing to lend a helping hand. Family came from as far as Dallas and many family and friends traveled from Houston.

YouTube host and awesome entertainer, Rock and Roll James and Rally came all the way from the valley and put on a YouTube show for their channel Hashtag PVT (check out their channel and stay tuned for their interviews and video blog). DJ Sonido Chacos kindly donated their time and equipment for the show. Tejano band Conjunto Firme had the crowd dancing. It was wonderful to see the community come together to support the cause and have a great time. The cars were so beautiful, the people were friendly, and the music was great. Just a good old fashioned, fun time. Now that the event is over, I’m ready to start planning the next event at Top Floor Cars. I don’t want the fun to end.

It took months to plan it and get the details right. And, there are so many details! Things like requesting permits, gathering sponsors, ordering shirts, trophies, portable toilets and many other things. It’s not something that gets done overnight or even a week before. It took months to organize and now it’s over just like that.

Location, Location!

It’s all about the location. Well, I think Tony Ramirez picked the best location for Top Floor Cars. Top Floor Cars is a classic car dealership that was established in 2018 in the Ram Optical business center (Tony’s other business… when he is not selling classic cars, he sells glasses). In 2022 he decided it was time to move Top Floor because it was outgrowing the location. What better spot than Downtown, Brenham?

Tony has organized car shows annually for over a decade and this was the first time the car show was in Downtown, Brenham.

People braved the dreary weather to come out and support the cause. The sun wasn’t shining too bright, but the cars were. Let’s just say we are thankful it didn’t rain on our show.

Again, we cannot put into words how thankful we are to everyone who helped support our show. We are glad everyone seemed to have a great time. If you were there, just know that your presence was appreciated.

What’s Coming Up?

The next big event we have planned is to participate in Downtown Brenham’s Summer Sip and Art Walk on Saturday, June 10th from 3-7pm. Various businesses in Downtown Brenham will be serving special drinks. Buy a ticket to get an event glass and that is your key to sample a variety of drinks from participating vendors. We will be serving Micheladas and have some art on display (and by art we mean classic cars…) We will be selling tickets to the event along with many other vendors. Top Floor is a proud sponsor of the event, and we are hoping to sell several glasses. Be sure to wear your Top Floor Car Merchandise and come visit us at Top Floor Cars. Be sure to follow Top Floor Cars on social media and website, www.topfloorcars.com and to stay up to date with fun things going on in Downtown Brenham, visit www.visitbrenhamtexas.com.

See you soon!!
